Here I Am To Worship

Light of the World
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes
Let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore You
Hope of life spent with You

Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me

King of all days
Oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came to the earth You created
All for love's sake became poor

I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

Verse of the Day

Hope everyone has had a good week...! =) Mine was long, stressful and tiring. Project meetings, datelines, photo shoots, blah blah...

I was at the Global Entrepolis event at Suntec City earlier in the week taking photos. I got to see our Senior Minister in person for the first time I think. He's someone I respect particularly because he comes across as a very humble person.

Last night was probably the best time of the week.. because there's this french exchange student in Crusade who invited us to his hall for crepes. His hall is right next to mine so that made it even better heh. Many of us Crusaders went over after Crossroads and we had a great time of food and fellowship! =) He made the crepes on the spot in the hall kitchen and there was cherry jam, pineapple jam, chocolate, banana and sliced sausages to go with it.

Jos: Can bring Mad Magazine and/or Billionaire too? They sound pretty cool too heh. Ya, we probably will have to rotate every 30 minutes or so to play them all heh. Look forward to trying your sandwiches, sounds yummy!!! There's a plug in the kitchen but I don't think there's a blender. I love milkshakes too..! haha.

Cyrus want to share and bring the drinks and snacks with me?

Look forward to meeting all of ya again this Sunday!!! Miss ya all... I really do! =)

yay. let's decide among all these games what we want to play, so we won't have to bring everything yah? don't think we'd finish playing everthing.
I've got these:
monopoly
scrabble
rummikub
pocket cluedo
initial subject
mad magazine
billionaire
and the thing with many circles you're supposed to put your hands and feet on it and look silly

I'd vote for rummikub! cause I think the rest of mine are a little silly and I've never heard of Jame's games. =P

Anyway I'd be bringing crossaint sandwiches (prolly bacon). We'd need one more handheld staple, some drinks, and maybe some snacks for the game. Is there a plug in the kitchen? Or is there a blender? I can make some milkshakes..haha.

I just heard the song below again last Thursday, and the words really spoke to me. It used to be a nice, catchy contemporary Christian song but when I started to pay more attention to the words, they carried alot more meaning. NTU Crusade was having an evangelistic service that evening, and it was great because quite a number of new friends came. Among these new friends, some responded and were keen to join a GIG (Group Investigating God) group soon. If you have the song, listen to it again.. its one of my favourites! =)

Avalon - Testify To Love Lyrics
All the colors of the rainbow
All the voices of the wind
Every dream that reaches out
That reaches out to find where love begins
Every word of every story
Every star in every sky
Every corner of creation lives to testify

(Chorus:)
For as long as I shall live
I will testify to love
I'll be a witness in the silences when words are not enough
With every breath I take
I will give thanks to God above
For as long as I shall live
I will testify to love

From the mountains to the valleys
From the rivers to the sea
Every hand that reaches out
Every hand that reaches out to offer peace
Every simple act of mercy
Every step to kingdom come
All the hope in every heart will speak what love has
done

Praise God!

I just had a test this morning, and it is what I call the "mother of all tests". The subject is Cell Biology and partly due to my skipping the lectures every single week, the test preparation was horrible. On Wednesday I had a CLEAR session which I had contemplated skipping because I was having a headache and I needed a rest before I start studying for my test. In the end I told God that I will attend the meeting by faith because I thought His work was much more important.

Fast forward to Friday. Just before the test I really asked God for deliverance. Surprisingly, the test went OK. I finished the one-hour test in 15mins. Although there were one or two errors, I am so glad that the test went fairly well. The most amazing thing is that, many of the questions that came out were those that I read in the last few minutes, when I told God that I really needed help. Mind you, I would have gotten the stuff wrong if I hadn't read them during the last moments!

I am very certain that God's hand was in this whole incident!
